..I've said a lot, and this may or may not be directly related to what you mentioned ...

But I just thought it was worth mentioning since it's not so far away from all that's been said on this thread...

So, men are good, the patriarchy is good.

Have men messed up in the past? Yup. Has the patriarchy been bad and oppressive in the past? Yup.

And men can and should do better...I'm all for that.

But erasing the patriarchy on the family, societal and governmental level..is not the solution.

Wokeism, modern day feminism and the Political Left have conditioned many to see men and patriarchy as the problem.

..and many people have drunk their kool-aid..

The patriarchy has to stay, but it needs good men. If you're a bad man, a bad person in general...then you're part of what's hurting and damaging the patriarchy.

I take after my dad in being a good person, very considerate, since I was born I've never seen him insult or abuse my mom, super responsible etc.

Why is it easy for me to say this publicly?

Because starting with myself, I strive to be a good man.

I don't put women down

I don't dismiss opinions and thoughts because they're coming from a woman

I don't support SA or abuse of women

I don't do unreasonable things like expect her to cook daily when we both grind and come home late etc.

...I'm not an unreasonable person and I don't treat people badly..

So I can say these things with ease and a clear mind.

But in terms of leadership in a home, society etc. I absolutely believe in the patriarchy. 💯 percent.

The problem with the patriarchy is bad men, men doing bad things...and yes, men need to be better in that regard.

Yes, men do "rule" or "lead" ...rightly so...But only good responsible men should lead.

The problem with the patriarchy is that there are too many irresponsible/bad/evil men...

...and that needs to change. Men need to do better.
