<p>This one hurt. 😭 The part about watching your dad being taken in installments really stayed with me. And the image of being twelve, sitting in the passenger seat while he drove... that made the whole poem feel so personal.</p><p>I also loved the idea of carrying him into ordinary things, the drives, cooking, mornings, even stubbornness. It feels like grief, but also like keeping someone alive in the little things they left behind. This was beautiful.</p>
