<p>Omo, this one deep sha. 😭</p><p>The connection between the way we treat elders and the scary reality of young people dying really makes me pause.</p><p>And that Yoruba proverb about death quietly giving warnings? Chai.</p><p>But that “maybe I haven’t found the reason young people are dying, maybe I’ve found another reason our society is dying” line hit hard.</p><p>We may not have answers to everything, but losing respect, humility and basic values is something we should genuinely worry about.</p>
