<p>This was an interesting perspective.</p><p>Tbh, I don't think it's English vs our local languages. Nigeria needs both.</p><p>English gives us global opportunities, while our native languages help us connect, build trust, and preserve our identity.</p><p>A leader who can speak to diplomats in English and then explain the same vision to ordinary Nigerians in their own language has a unique advantage.</p><p>Progress shouldn't come at the cost of forgetting where we come from. Great read. 👏🏽</p>
