<p>social media has made this worse.</p><p>The person shouting the loudest gets more attention than the person saying something meaningful.</p><p>Someone can spend hours teaching, writing, researching or discussing serious issues and barely get engagement,</p><p>while somebody doing absolute nonsense can gather millions of views overnight.</p>
