<p>Omo, this one is giving “I’m fine” but make it literature.</p><p>The scary part is how the writer turns pretending into a survival skill.</p><p>“You pull away, I disappear” is painfully relatable.</p><p>And that ending “Is she right? I think right.</p><p>Do I care? I think not.” chai. That uncertainty says more than a whole paragraph.</p><p>Sometimes you pretend for so long that even you no longer know which version of yourself is real.</p>
