Na real Nigerian resilience be this. 😂</p><p>And I love the point about people saying “the film no sweet” without actually explaining what didn’t work. 😂</p><p>That one na very Nigerian movie review: “I no like am.” Okay… but why? 😭</p><p>Storytelling is a craft, not just vibes. And I like how you’re creating that space where we can actually discuss why a story works...</p>

Thank you. 😂 Honestly, resilience isn't quite it. I always had stories in me long before I could read them. My dad told us stories growing up and in class, even before I could read on my own, I would listen closely whenever my class teacher read from our textbooks. So learning to read wasn't really the start of my storytelling, it was just the moment I finally knew how to spell the words I wanted to write.

Also, yes ‘I no like am’ should come with the ‘why’.
