<p>The fact that everyone of us can relate to this.</p><p>True. At my age, still find it kind of hard to converse with my mum. There's just some weird awkward vibe it brings. No matter how I try. Sometimes it works other times it looks forced.</p><p>I see a lot of us writing about how bad their parenting method is and I hope we learn and not make same mistakes.</p><p>Somebody said the best way to relate with them is long distance relationship and I couldn't agree more🤦🏼‍♀️</p>

I'm so sorry about that ...

I really hope we do not make the same mistakes, too... because, the trauma is something almost every African household can relate to (slightly still counts).

And yeah on the last subject, I still wonder why that is. Over a certain distance, the respect somehow triples.
