<p>I think social media has made this even worse because now love has to be visible to count. 😭 A thoughtful message isn't enough. we need the flowers, the birthday surprise, the push gift, the vacation pictures. And gifts aren't inherently bad, but when the evidence of love becomes what someone can afford to display, the actual relationship can get lost underneath all that performance.</p>
