<p>Omoo this is true because so many “strong people” were never actually strong by choice they just learned very early that nobody was coming to carry them. The quiet exhaustion in this feels real, especially that line about wanting help but not knowing how to ask for it. Sometimes people mistake survival for strength and forget that even the ones holding everyone together need somewhere safe to fall apart too.</p>
