<p>This is such an interesting distinction. I think “ignorance sells” is only part of the problem because sometimes people aren’t even rewarding the ignorance itself, they’re rewarding the attention it generates. And like you said, we’re all participants in that cycle. The uncomfortable part is realising that sometimes we complain about what trends while still helping it trend.</p>
