<p>so true. Sometimes it’s easy to look at people and say they’re not doing enough, without thinking about how exhausting just surviving can be. The part about survival taking away the space to dream really hit me.</p>

Exactly 100 points for you I think that’s one of the things people often overlook. It’s easy to criticize people for not creating, innovating, or thinking beyond their immediate situation, but when most of your energy is going into surviving, there’s barely any room left to dream, experiment, or build something long-term. Development isn’t just about telling people to work harder; people also need an environment that gives them the space to think beyond survival.
