<p>honestly hate how quickly people ask, “What was she doing there?” instead of asking, “Why did he do that?” We need to stop putting the burden of preventing rape on potential victims.</p><p>I also think people underestimate how complicated it can be when the perpetrator is someone the victim knows or trusts. It can make speaking up even harder because there’s already so much confusion and betrayal involved.</p>
