<p>This is why proper sex education matters. Telling young people “don’t do it” without giving them accurate information doesn’t make curiosity disappear.</p><p>Don’t let anyone lie to you, and most importantly don’t lie to yourself.</p><p>That’s probably my favourite takeaway from this piece.</p><p>growing up in a strict Christian home can give you a strong foundation, but sometimes you still have to unlearn the shame that got attached to that foundation.</p>
