<p>I see the place this is coming from and I appreciate the empathy behind this piece.</p><p>But I feel the framing around her giving and giving, or being “used” risks missing the core issue which is her not being careless with herself.</p><p>She was emotionally abused and manipulated, and that responsibility never lies with the victim.</p><p>A great piece overall.</p>

Thank you for pointing that out, it does stray a little bit from the issue at hand, but I was trying to present it from another person's perspective. I'll try my best not to deviate in the future.
