<p>2/3 The scariest part truly is not only the violence but how ordinary it has started to feel.</p><p>Kidnappings have become normal news and people are responding to tragedy normally. It just tells something fundamental has already been broken emotionally.</p><p>And your point about survival forcing people into numbness is important because many people are not heartless. They are tired.</p>
