<p>2/4 This makes me wonder how often history judges women more harshly for protecting their dignity than it judges those who try to take it from them.</p><p>It was definitely worse then.</p><p>Vashti was not refusing a reasonable request; she was refusing to be displayed before a room of intoxicated men as though her worth existed only in her appearance.</p>
