It runs through my mind all the time, is school really a scam? Has education truly failed us? Maybe not, I honestly just think times have changed and what we learn in school should change too. Our educational system should meet the demand of the society. And the merit system you talked about, people should know there's a reward with going to school and getting good grades. Not a top academic serving and working for a man who barely passed WASSCE. All these paints a picture that school is a scam.

You said it all... the schools exist in a long lost timeline while technical advancement and the work place is ever volatile and evolving.
