<p>Interesting insight</p><p>You perfectly encapsulated the problems of media of our society</p><p>Enjoyed every word</p><p>Would like to answer your question "Who is giving them the microphone" even though it might be rhetorical</p><p>So obviously we all know that they bought it themselves</p><p>This makes me to believe it's the culture we live under that seeks to commodify our thoughts and think pieces which lead to everyone having a take that is not well-informed or at least with the awareness it's not well informed</p>

The time it takes to bring up an informed analysis from actual academics

Others that seek to make money from the attention of the topic despite our pure intention might inadvertently muddy the water of the discourse

Especially when these social algorithm seek engagement more than anything else e.g Tiktok
