<p>If it’s this hard to unlove someone, maybe it’s okay to try to work things out with the person and fix things, and hopefully find yourselves in a much better place afterwards.</p><p>The other option is to let heartbreak do its thing, to break, to lose your appetite, to miss work, to fall sick. It’s a hard and unnecessarily long, inconvenient process. But maybe the only way to get over a love that deep is to let it slowly fizzle out over time.</p>
