Exactly! When we hide these people, we are quietly enabling their actions. People rarely change when they know they can get away with it. Just yesterday, I saw a clip on Nigeria Info’s Instagram page where a man asked if he should report his own brother for sleeping with his 14-year-old daughter. He said he was scared to report him because he didn’t want to lose his only brother. Can you imagine that? What about the child whose life he is destroying? Doesn’t she deserve protection too?
