Well here is it....I just found out not quite long and it sort of coincided with the moment I read this insight....

It's a pit called the Kola Superdeep Borehole located in Russia (Then Soviet Union), the Russian scientists started it but it got to a certain depth that the heat emanating from the pit kept increasing to the extent of melting the machines that were used for digging.... Na so my guys leave project run o😂...

So it was given the nickname "gate of hell"..
