<p>"Should the art be judged separately from the artist?"</p><p>I don't think so....</p><p>I'll try to say this in a very brief way..</p><p>Let me use this analogy..</p><p>If you want to know what type of tailor this person is, look at her dress,</p><p>As an interviewer, you want to know the expertise of the interviewee, you simply look at the CV...</p><p>Same thing applies here,</p><p>One thing that most people misinterpret is that...</p><p>E.g The So and So that sang that particular song might not be the same type of person today...</p>

... And most times we use the present predicament of such person to judge his past works and vice versa..

Though I don't know about Diddy. That's just my take on this ..
