But who are you without your ability to be reticent, unreactive and hyper aware?. And this is what makes you you. You must start first by loving whatever it is you think is your traits.The world really is not a nice place. But loving yourself would be something nice to do.I really hope you find the comfort you deserve soon.

Thank you for reminding me to keep loving my eccentricities. I am just recently, starting to break loose from the chokeholds of a system that conditions you to forget how to love yourself, so you can tolerate having to suck up to someone else- whose intentions you’re completely oblivious to.

My traits are not conventional. And the world fears that, as it makes me unpredictable. So it devises structures of ridicule, or even outright force to make me forego my most trusted allies- those traits.
