<p>This piece feels like a representation in behalf of us, mostly Nigerian parents. It's really sad that this is not talked about enough. African parents specifically have the most heartwrenching words a person could ever give to their child. They think providing is enough. They feel entitled to the fact that they do what they are supposed to do as parents. Asking for accolades while doing basic responsibilities. Forgetting words on us that breaks our soul.</p><p>Onome, greate piece here.</p>
