Conclusion: Dominique and Gail loove Howard because according to the author, he lives fully for himself and does what he thinks is right for his own dreams and imagination of how architecture should be.

He's the kind of person that has values, lives by it and is lucky enough to survive it.

I don't agree with the author but this is a two part essay on parts I found interesting

Thank you so much for the time you've given to break everything down.

I most confess, your reasoning strength is great👍

Contd:

Howard Roark is the last I'm talking about, but he's the main character in the film. The author of the book it's based on created him as a response to group think and forced collectivisation. She believed the most important part of society is the individual and that individual chasing what they believe for themselves and themselves alone.

Howard roark is loved deeply by Domenique and becomes a friend to Wynard. He fully embodied the author's values

Contd: first, she marries a boring conventional architect named keating, she doesn't really love and then she leaves him for Gail Wynard; a very rich man.

Wynard is the second person I'm talking about here. He knows what greatness is; in the film, he knows what good architecture can be like, and at first he opposes it.

When Wynard changes, he fights for the ideal/greatness because of another man: Howard Roark.

Tragically, Wynard dies in defense or chase of this ideal world and that's the risk.

I'd love to. This is a sort of journal entry by a woman called Domenique Francon from an old film called the Fountainhead.

I'm using her position to highlight three types of people when it comes to dreaming of a better world, or of ideal and even beautiful things.

The woman I'm writing as, knows about ideal things and what's wrong but she doesn't think it can be real. So she chooses to live without any risk.
