What could be the cause of all this traffic, any idea on how we this could be tackled this?

Overpopulation is the main problem and poor orientation. Majority of Lagos traffic is caused by "i sabi drive" . Decentralization of commerce, sensitization of drivers and improved infrastructure. "Rail line"

Lagos is overpopulated. Basic. Her current infrastructure is failing to cope with the dense population.
