<p>This is a very important conversation that society needs to take more seriously.</p><p>Victims should never be blamed for someone else’s decision to violate their boundaries.</p><p>Clothing, age, location, or appearance can never justify sexual violence.</p><p>What makes things worse is when victims are silenced, mocked, or treated as though they caused what happened to them.</p><p>We need to teach accountability, respect, boundaries, and consent instead of teaching potential victims how to avoid being blamed.</p><p><br></p>
