<p>Maybe the problem isn’t love, but the unhealthy attachment people confuse with love. Love shouldn’t mean losing yourself, depending on someone for your happiness, or enduring pain to prove you care. If that’s what you’re describing, then I’d reject that too. But love can exist without self-abandonment. Sometimes people leave, feelings fade, and it still doesn’t make what they shared meaningless.</p>
