<p>This feels less like a story about him and more like a story about trying to understand someone who never really allowed himself to be understood. You spent so much time questioning his beliefs, his ego, his intentions, and even his idea of intimacy, only to end up questioning yourself—why did I even go? And honestly, that ending hurts because sometimes we don't go somewhere because we know what we want; we go because a small part of us hopes something will happen. Beautifully written.</p>
