<p>It loops perfectly into a thought I’ve been sitting on today: If you always keep a Plan B, you will never give 100% to Plan A. As Africans, we have turned God and the Government into our permanent Plan B—emotional and civic safety nets that we blame for everything so we don't have to fully commit to Plan A, which is taking ownership of our own destinies and societies. We are innovative with our clothes, but stagnant with our accountability.</p>
