I mean, if it won't hurt you, do the right thing for the people you are supposed to do it for, before theirreasonable expectations turn into resentment.Not every expectation is entitlement.Sometimes, people expect certain things from us because of the roles we have in their lives and the things we've consistently shown them we can do.

I never said I would be resentful if he doesn't, nor do I say I wouldn't be glad to help him too.

Should you because of your brother is doing well expect he 'must' help you and goes ahead to be resentful if he doesn't?

Have you also considered helping him in a way?

I won't totally discard the fact that there should be a sense of community or family but when it's turning into a 'must'. Nah.
