<p>This chapter was intense from beginning to end, The moment Elizabeth realized Stefan might be connected to the ritual gave me chills. And that ending with the ashes, the twisting doorknob, and the sudden shriek? You really know how to build suspense and leave readers desperate for the next chapter. I’m definitely suspicious of Stefan now.</p>
