<p>This is such a haunting and emotionally disturbing piece. The twist at the end completely changes how I read the confession—the guilt, regret, and longing make the final line hit especially hard. The writing does a great job of showing how one terrible choice can haunt someone for an entire lifetime. That ending is chilling.</p>

It was a very heavy theme to write on, but I'm glad you were able to see beyond the veil of it just being a shocking story.
