<p>Nice say but I am coming from the musical perspective because am an Artist. I think what the Internet did by making us to subscribe to music channels is for data base logistics. Must of the files carries lots of memories and the quality is really high. Unlike your old CD plate you own it reaches a time and start cracking and get really bad to the point you can play them again. The subscription for the channels still help to generate money for the artist via catalogs.</p>

I can agree with this, as it helps with access, but do I have to subscribe for life? Why can't I just buy and have my account anytime I login? What exactly is the need to pay money every month with no new service or any improvement. It just seems weird.
