<p>I think in this age and time, people want what they want and nothing else and they remember you giving them what they don't want not you trying. Few people recognise the effort though but it's really slim so I disagree with this a lot. Show up but not because people will remember it but because it's the right thing to do, just don't do it to your inconvenience cause the person may not recognise it</p>
