<p>First, friendship should come with love not guilt</p><p>Sometimes you help someone because you genuinely care, but after a while, they will start feeling entitled</p><p>That line about people missing the version of you who couldn’t say no is nothing but true. Your friend doing better shouldn’t mean their money now belongs to you too. If they help, appreciate it. If they can’t, that shouldn’t suddenly make them a bad person.</p><p>Beautifully written.
