<p>This so emotional to read! I kept flashing back as I was reading. The truth is our upbringing by our parents often shape the kind of persons will become.</p><p>It's toxicity wrapped in discipline, but regardless our parents will always be our parents.</p><p>I also love the ending part "The cycle can end with you," it is eyes opener and a call to prospective parents to do away with toxic parenting; you can discipline your child without messing up his mental health or ruin his/her self esteem.</p><p>Keep it up</p>
