<p>This really got me. Sometimes we wait for the person who hurt us to apologize or understand what they did, not realizing we're letting them hold the key to our healing.</p><p>You can acknowledge what happened, admit that it hurt, and still choose not to carry it forever.</p><p>Sometimes you won't get the apology or explanation you deserved. And as painful as that is, you can still choose peace.</p><p>This was a beautiful reminder.</p>
