<p>This is not just an ordinary insight but w beautiful insight that captures the reality of the patriarchial dominance in the society and this is common in Africa, where women rarely have a say in the family and society.</p><p>Amara's mother is a testament to this which also in turn shapes how Amara withdraw to herself in the early age.</p><p>Amara sudden change to me symbolizes the female wokeness in the society to fight against this shackle.</p><p>Anyways, beautifully written.
