<p>This really made it think.</p><p>Sometimes we think having good intentions is enough to break the cycle, but it isn’t.</p><p>You can want the best for your children and still unknowingly repeat the same patterns if you never deal with your own wounds.</p><p>The part about children not being our therapists or second chances really hit me. Healing doesn’t mean becoming a perfect parent; it means being honest enough to recognize your wounds and choose not to pass them on.</p><p>Beautifully written. Keep it up</p>
