<p>This one really hurt in a quiet way.</p><p>The line “I had a father, I just didn’t get to have one” says so much without trying too hard.</p><p>Sometimes the hardest grief isn’t only losing someone but grieving all the ordinary moments you never got to experience with them.</p><p>I could feel that emptiness in the questions she asked other people about their fathers. And that ending of “I’m grieving the relationship I never got to have with him.” is emotional.</p><p>Beautifully written. Keep it up</p>
