<p>This is nor easy to read but needed to be written.</p><p>The part about people protecting family reputation while the child is left to deal with the pain stuck with me.</p><p>We sometimes throw around discipline that we forget there’s an actual child at the centre of it all.</p><p>A child shouldn’t have to become numb to pain just because adults refuse to do better. I lChildren deserve protection, not fear.</p><p>I love this — it's profound and powerful.</p><p>Keep it up</p>
