Yes, I still maintain that we are. We got blindsided, and got dealt a hand we have never been used to.

Nigerians felt that if they come out and cast their votes in support of their preferred candidate, it would be enough. It was supposed to be enough, by the dictates of the law and constitution, but we learnt something new. . . Those who want power will do everything to keep it, including kidnapping democracy.

We as citizens, also need to learn how to evolve seeing the hand we've been dealt.
