I read and felt it the question you should ask yourself do you believe that in the next 10 yrs you will regret picking one option and leaving the other ?which option do you believe you can live with it?  before picking between either have you made every effort to attend to both have you tried and if  you made sure and you aren't able then you make the choice that will leave you with no regrets and a peace of mind and no guilt 🤔

That’s a thoughtful way to look at it, especially the part about actually trying to make both work before choosing.

I think what makes it tricky is that regret doesn’t always show up immediately. Sometimes it’s not loud… it’s just the quiet realization later.

But I agree at the end of the day, it comes down to choosing what you can live with, not just now, but over time.
