<p>The concept of equality — that’s a big slap on my face. “Equality,” something I have always wanted but knew I could never have. Why? Because of my differences and, like you’ve said, total equality is impossible because of those differences. But I think people aren’t looking for equality the way others see it. Some people just don’t want to be treated with a level of cruelty that breaks them.</p><p>A wonderful insight into something I’ve been thinking about for the past six years.</p>
