<p>This is such an important distinction: conviction points us toward repentance, while condemnation tries to convince us that we're beyond redemption. Too many people mistake self-hatred for humility, when Christ consistently corrected people without stripping them of their dignity. Thank you for this reminder that grace should begin with the way we speak to ourselves too.</p>
