<p>This is such an important conversation. What stands out to me is how quickly society often focuses on what victims could have done differently instead of confronting the people who commit these acts and the systems that allow them to happen. Safety should never be something women have to constantly negotiate for.</p><p>Real change requires accountability, education, and a shift in how we view and discuss gender-based violence.</p>
