<p>This is very correct. My dad listed out a few courses he didn't want me studying and told me I could do what I liked with the rest. My point here is, he gave me reasons for disapproving them. He didn't do the usual "I pay your fees, I get to decide". I'm grateful to him for thaf. Parents should realize that a gentle "advise" or "opinion" is often listened to rather than control.</p>
