<p>You're right. I know work places that encourage you to use AI. It's all in a bid to make you more effective...basically.</p><p>One of my major concerns with its use though is wrt academia. Undergrad students just churning out assignments that were spat by Gemini or Grok.</p><p>We risk people actually studying to know.</p>

AI can be a powerful tool in education, helping students understand complex topics and work more efficiently. But when it's used to simply churn out assignments, it robs students of true learning and critical thinking. The real issue isn’t AI itself — it’s how it’s used.

So yes, AI in education isn’t the problem — misuse is. We need to shift the mindset from shortcut to smart companion. Otherwise, we’re building a knowledge house on sand.
